You don't have to tell me about what the power of music really is. Just see for yourself!
Discovered this site and this artist by mere luck! The Art of Doing Something is the brainchild of multitalent Brian Michael Gossett. We were gonna write about the awesomeness of his creation but he describes it best!
"The Art of Doing Something is a philosophy I have embraced to create art that I feel good about. I hope it inspires people to get a little more involved in making the world a better place to live in."
PS he has a wonderful giftshop we'd advise stopping by there when you visit.
One of the saving graces of Los Angeles life is an independent radio station out of Santa Monica called KCRW! Working in the arts and creating a space for art and culture I realize how important it is to deliver something you think is important, noteworthy or just awesome without watering it down due to corporate censorship. This radio station is funded in large by the people who listen every day (like me!) They have been doing a pledge drive over the last two weeks and today is the last day to pledge and become a member during the drive and get some really fantastic giveaways.
Go here and become a member online kcrw.com of if you live in LA tune in at 89.9FM and listen to what you can win and how you can join. If you don't make it today no sweats, I think you can join anytime through the website.

When we first opened we had a Conscious Wellness POP SHOP that we ran...we no longer do the POP SHOP in the capacity that we once did but we do want to get back to promoting some of those values. We already blog about good art, good music and good film which all contribute to a good life so we're going to incorporate good food to balance it out.
PS were in LA and to us this is the home of the original foodie!
Up first is the super amazing Bernando LaPallo he is 110 years of age and a vegetarian food chef who trained in culinary arts at The Sorbonne in Paris graduating in 1928. We once heard this published author say in an interview he remembers when the airplane, tv and telephone were invented...and now he maintains a website, facebook and blog that he posts to regularly...talk about an evolution.
He sometimes does these instructional videos about his favorite dishes and we couldn't wait to try the Barley Soup after seeing it.
