NEW BEGINNINGS
Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 2:22AM So much growth has happened between April 15, 2010 and today.
When we first opened our doors to the beautiful city of Los Angeles as Papillion Institute of Art over a decade ago we had no idea or expectations of what would happen next. What came as a long period of freedom to explore; trying new things, saying yes to creative impulses and collaborating with whoever and whatever inspired us at the time.
That sense of openness carried us for many years, until it didn't.
Entering a years long sabbatical, the next exploration of PAPILLION ART became one of introspection. It was about finding freedom through self discovery and spiritual expansion. All of the projects I am pursuing today were born from that space.
I have since re-launched my family's farm, Royal Queen Farms. Soon I will open a new cultural and performance space called ROOTS which will feature a farm fresh cafe. In addition I have created an archival research library dedicated to art and consciousness. I am as eager to share as you may be to see and experience what is coming next. More details will be shared when the timing is right.
